Organic Flat Iron Steak

Our Organic Grass-Fed Flat Iron Steak is one of the most tender and flavourful cuts of beef. Cut from the shoulder, it has beautiful marbling that delivers a rich, beefy flavour while remaining exceptionally tender.

Perfect for grilling, pan-searing or barbecuing, flat iron steak is best cooked hot and fast to medium-rare, then rested and sliced across the grain for maximum tenderness.

Raised on certified organic pastures in the Waikato, our cattle are never treated with synthetic hormones or routine antibiotics and are free to roam and graze naturally. Every steak is carefully prepared in our own on-farm processing facility, ensuring complete traceability from our farm to your table.

Cooking tip: Bring the steak to room temperature before cooking. Sear over high heat for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness), rest for 5–10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

  • Commercial and Urban Addresses: Delivered overnight via NZ Couriers or NZ Post.
  • Rural Addresses: Contact us before placing a meat order to make special arrangements. We don't guarantee the quality of the product as it can take more than a day to be delivered.
  • Handling fees:  A flat rate of $10 is charged for the Handling and Delivery fee; however, for orders over $90, it is credited back to you at checkout.
